The Unknown Poets are a musical comedy quartet based in Edmonton,
Alberta. Their act has been described as comedy with a meaning in the sense that they look at political, social, and economic situations and place upon them a humorous, bizarre, and satirical slant. The music of the Unknown Poets, for the most part, follows a folk sound with the occasional celtic, country, and blues influence surfacing.
